Johnny the Homicidal Maniac is a comic book series by Jhonen Vasquez, creator of INVADER ZIM. Although Zim was able to be aired on Nickelodeon, Johnny is no where near suitable for children. Why? BECAUSE HE'S A HOMICIDAL MANIAC. Parents tend to frown on that type of thing. There's oodles of killing, and bad language, and styrofoam figures that come to life, and oogy things that live in the wall and drink blood, and scaring the crap out of the poor neighbor kid. But if you're adult enough to handle it, the series is HYSTERICAL. Very amusing. Jhonen only made 7 comics, and then stopped to do SQUEE! (the poor neighbor kid. He got his own series. Four comics in that one), and then Invader Zim. But all that's done now, and JTHM fans like me want to know what happens next with Johnny. See, the last comic ended with kind of a cliff-hanger, which is VERY bothersome.
